Summer Reading Game 2017 Kick-off

Wednesday, June 28, 10 am – 12 noon, in the lower-level CafĂ© area
For all ages; children 6 & under must be accompanied by an adult. 
Sign up for the Summer Reading Game, and join us for some fun! We'll have carnival games, face painting, a bubble truck, & more!

Summer Reading Game 2017

Build a Better World: You will receive a Reading Log and a sheet of stickers. For every 10 minutes you read, put a sticker on one of the circles of your Log. When all the circles are filled, bring your Log to the library and choose a book to keep from our gift book cart.

Every time you bring back a completed Reading Log, you will also be entered into our raffle. We will have two drawings: Wednesday, July 26, & Wednesday, August 30, both at 7 pm.

Mondays

Mother Goose Time

10–10:30 am
for ages 1–2 ½, with a grownup
Mother Goose rhymes and songs with lots of participation & music.

New Moms & Infants Support Group

11 am –1 pm
Come when you can & leave when you need to.
Companionship, community, advice, & support for new moms & pregnant women. Dads & siblings welcome. Group will be run by Katherine Whiteside CPD (CBI), Certified Postpartum Doula. This program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the OPL.

Join us on a whirlwind tour of the history of the world. Each week we will eat historical foods, take on team challenges, and compete in a history bee for world class prizes.
